2019 proved to be a banner scholarship year for the Cuba City High School seniors. Forty of the sixty-six graduates received a total of 163 scholarships worth an aggregate value of $502,6500. In addition, six students will be entering the armed forces and will receive educational benefits approaching $600,000.
Although many scholarships were provided by the colleges and universities the students will attend, most of the scholarships came from individuals and organizations in Cuba City and the surrounding area. This year alone, sixty-three local organizations and individuals accounted for 115 scholarships.
Of this year’s graduates, thirty students will attend four-year colleges or universities in the fall; seventeen will attend one- or two-year programs; five are entering apprenticeship or work training programs; six are entering the military; and eight are joining the workforce
